Silly Gigi!

Dear Lily and Sam,
Here's a couple of silly pictures for you!

Picture #1 is Aunt Stephanie's toes before we went to Splash last weekend - I told her she should repaint them but she insisted that this polish was SPECIAL because it was the polish she put on her toes when you were here in October when we went to Splash together!
Picture #2 is Gigi's toes tonight - because I'm feeling a little bit silly and wanted to post my toes - I put new polish on my toes before we went to Splash, so this polish is a week old.  As you can see from my big toes, I haven't shaved since Splash, either!  And on my right foot are my beautiful scars from breaking my foot the spring before Lillian Jayce was born.
Picture #3 is Brutus - eating treats!  He loves to have treats, and I try to remember to give them to him even when you are not here to help - - but poor Butski needs his Lily to help Gigi remember treats!  My what a big tongue you have, Brutus!
Picture #4 is my friend Hattie Cecilia Walsworth playing with your mommy's favorite toy for the very first time.  Hattie always has very very big eyes, don't worry!  She wasn't about to cry!
Picture #5 is the corner of the blankey that Gigi made for Hattie Cecilia Walsworth - I didn't make it before she was born, though because I'm slow like that!  This picture also has all of your toys out while Hattie was visiting Gigi one day when her mommy (Jess) was at the gym!
Picture #6 is most of your toys at Gigi's house put away and waiting for the next time you come - or the next time we have care group - or the next time Hattie comes over (probably that will happen first).  I wish you could come and play with the toys!  Do you like the new basket I got for putting the small toys in?  I decided to use the recycling box in the office for actually recycling paper!
And Picture #7 is your very silly Aunt Stephanie taking a picture of herself while she is sitting in my recliner.  This was taken before Splash - I think - at least it was taken before she got her hair trimmed on Friday evening.

Picture #8 was going to be of Aunt Bethany sitting in the other recliner right now - - but first she said, "Please don't take a picture of me" and then she said "Please don't post it" - - so I guess you are out of luck!  But right now I'm a happy momma because Aunt Stephanie, Aunt Bethany, and Uncle Brother are all home - - I know that 2 of them are usually home, but I'm happy because Aunt Bethany is home for a week from college and I miss her when she's gone!

I also miss you and your mommy and daddy very much and I really hope we can come to visit you very soon!
love - hugs - kisses,
Gigi

Splash!

Dear Lily and Sam,
Thank-you for the valentine's card!  I'm grateful that 'thumbody' loves me!  G-pa and I loved the card and the pictures (and that you made the card with your little thumbs)!

Yesterday and the day before, we went to Splash Lagoon.  I decided that this was the perfect time to remember to take pictures for you!  We usually like to go in the winter (February) with Uncle Tim & Aunt Roxy and the cousins.  This year, we went for just one night because we all just went in October when you were here with us.  Aunt Steph got to skip school for one day (she was happy).

TJ and Z had lots of fun at Splash - and so did Aunt Stephanie and the cousins, but we all missed having you girlses there with us and having all the fun with you!

Yesterday (Saturday) as we were leaving Erie and Splash Lagoon, we started getting a SNOWSTORM!  It's pretty funny because nearly every time we travel to Splash, we have wintry weather that we have to drive through to get home!  This time we didn't expect any because we haven't had much snow at all this year in NY (and there wasn't really snow in the forecast).  We were wrong!  For the whole trip home, it was snowy and slippery.

When we got back home there was only a little bit of snow on the ground here, but tomorrow it is supposed to get up to 40 degrees, so it probably won't stay on the ground!  I keep hoping we will get at least one big snowstorm where we get a foot or more of snow!  I'm not teaching at school this year, but everybody is wishing for a snow day!  We still have at least one month where we could get snow.

I love you guys so so so much and I hope you have a happy valentine's day!
Hugs and kisses!
love,
Gigi
