Dear Lily and Sam,
This week Aunt Stephanie has no school because other kids at her school have to take Regents Exams, but she doesn't have any exams to take. She likes it A LOT when she has no school and today I took her to college to visit Aunt Bethany for a couple of days.
We went to Rochester in the G6 - just like you did in October when you were visiting - but I did not get a speeding ticket today, because I am not used to driving on the Autobahn! (tell mommy this is where she's supposed to smile!) We picked up Aunt Bethany at her dorm and then we went to the other side of campus and picked up her car so I could drive that home after we went out to eat dinner. So, then we drove to the restaurant - Chipotle Grill - and ate some delicious Mexican food. Then I double-checked with Aunt Bethany about if she needed anything from her car (she said nope - and then she went back to college and I went to a nearby store to do a tiny bit of shopping).
About 15 minutes later, she called me and told me that she needed her student ID and her other keys that she had given me with her car key - - OOPS! Good thing I hadn't started driving home yet! She came back over to the area where we ate dinner and picked up her keys (except the car key) and then she went back to college all over again. This time I was done shopping so I went home!
Aunt Stephanie gets to hang out with Aunt Bethany tomorrow and they are both going to come home on Thursday. Then Aunt Steph will stay home and Aunt Beth will go back to college again! I have to see if we can get new (but not too expensive) tires on Aunt Bethany's car. She had a flat tire this weekend and realized that she (AND G-PA) could not get the tires off the car because the lug nuts were stuck too tight (rusted). But since the tire was able to be blown back up, I brought it home to get it fixed instead of having it worked on in Rochester.
So, that's the silly story about the trip I took today! I hope you are having a great day!
Love and HUGS!
Gigi
