Dear Girlses,
I have to laugh at the things your mom's posting about on her blog lately! And it's also a nice trip down memory lane for me.
Lillian, the paper dolls momma made you for Christmas are very special! Your great-gramma made some a little bit like them for your momma when she was little. When I come to visit you, I would like to play with your paper dolls with you also! Great-Gramma was a fun gramma for your momma when she was younger and didn't lose her brain. I wish she still had her brain now, but she doesn't - it's gone. Now she doesn't even know who I am when I go to visit her. Like today, she thought Aunt Bethany was one of her students from school, not her grand daughter. She also doesn't brush her teeth any more, so she has super-yucky teeth. I want to keep all my brains so that I can have fun with my grandkids for a long, long time!
Silly Sammy - you should keep your 'slips' on your feet! They are very comfy and keep your feet warm. If you keep taking one off, Momma's going to have to glue them to your toes - - no, not really, that wouldn't be a good idea at all! But the reason I bought those good 'slips' for you was because they don't fall off your feet as much as other slippers! keep them on so your piggy toes stay nice and warm! Also, I see you've been working on growing hair! I'm glad, although I do think you and Sis look quite beautiful with no hair - - at least this way people won't think you look like your G-pa!
I love you girls, so much!
Gigi

Dear Gigi,
ReplyDeleteI will try to keep my slips on more often. I really appreciate that you've bought them for me... because they really are great slips. When are you coming to see me? I plan to be walking by then... and maybe even start potty training! ;o) Miss you!
Love,
Samantha Jordan
